Job Description

The VP of Partner Solutions is responsible for accelerating global growth and add value to our existing products and services through strategic partner solutions. You will work closely with senior Sabre product and sales leaders to ensure we are able to offer the right mix of products and services to our customers.  This role is inherently global in nature and requires a commercially minded individual with a passion for identifying and engaging with innovative companies to qualify, acquire and manage complementary technology products and solutions. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Define the end-to-end technology needs of our primary customer segments and identify opportunities for partners to meet those needs, in complement to Sabre’s products
  • Develop the vision, growth strategy and long-range plans for the partner solutions business and future partnerships. Assessing current and evolving customer needs and performing market analysis to help recommend and decide build/buy/partner approaches.
  • Assume responsibility for the annual operating plan for new business through prospecting, acquiring, and developing strategic partnerships
  • Meet with executive management, business representatives, external partners, and various focus groups to receive feedback on current systems, processes and procedures and to brainstorm enhancements for future program and development initiatives.
  • Oversee the Sabre Authorized Developer Program to certify and onboard new authorized developers who seek to use the Sabre platform to build new travel solutions
  • Evaluate external partner solutions/products
  • Develop leads, manage the RFI/RFP process, negotiate contracts, and drive program execution as needed with support from internal business partners.
  • Establish, build and own relationship with external partners, including from time-to-time sitting as an active board member with our strategic partners.Manage the implementation of any new third-party products or services
  • Establish, implement and successfully execute partnership strategies with internal and external channels
  • Maintain and grow relationships with current partners by ensuring terms and deliverables are met with existing and new agreements
  • Identify and recruit new partners in key markets to support strategic corporate initiatives
  • Design and implement partner scorecard to measure the impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility of enablement programs and the overall partner experience.Effectively communicate solutions and services and a possible joint value proposition

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development and partner alliances
  • Clear track record of managing and delivering cross-functional projects that accelerate sales revenue
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills to manage multiple competing priorities and projects with attention to detail
  • Software product experience required
  • Travel industry experience preferred
