Job Description

  • Act as the primary commercial lead for South East Asia or assigned markets for the online segment of travel agencies (OTAs)
  • Account management of existing OTA customer base
  • Deliver qualified consulting approach and lead sales on key identified prospects
  • Responsible for formulating, delivering and maintaining a sales pipeline for the assigned region
  • Establish, build and maintain executive level relationships in client organization
  • Prepare and execute professional presentations to clients in their territories
  • Develop proposals that comply with established guidelines and pricing policies, perform contract negotiations and close sales
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of sales activity in the pipeline and regularly report key sales metrics to management
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity, provide feedback to management and recommend sales strategies
  • Negotiate price, contracts, terms and conditions for new expansion and renewals
  • Drive the SEA matrix online team to achieve the sales objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably in an online environment on the sales/business development/ marketing side; minimum 5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred
  • Able to build strong business relationships at all levels
  • Extensive expertise and knowledge of the online travel space and previous experience with travel technology products desired
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple sales channels and strategic relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales and account management plans
  • Tech-savvy with an ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically
  • Ability to respond quickly to rapidly changing requirements.
