Job Description

We are looking for a results-oriented, empowering individual to manage the field marketing operations of Sabre Travel Network across Asia Pacific.In this role you will have a direct impact on the success of our regional sales organization, driving marketing efforts to increase pipeline and penetration across the region. You will lead the Field Marketing team with members spread across APAC.

 

Based in Singapore, reporting to the Vice President Brand and Field Marketing, the Manager will be a key player within the Global Marketing organisation. Working hand-in-hand with his/her Peers looking after EMEA and the Americas, you will need to work in close collaboration to align all three regions, share global responsibilities, foment best practice sharing across teams and report to the upper management with once common voice.

 

You will also partner with regional leadership and local sales teams to develop regionally-based marketing activities and communications based on data analysis, trends, new ideas and strategic insights. You will also work closely with the brand managers and customer segment managers to define and execute our global marketing strategy in a manner that is most relevant to the APAC markets and audience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Optimize resource utilization by prioritizing growth opportunities, incorporating market dynamic shifts as they come, demonstrating a high level of flexibility while sticking to a clear vision
  • Oversee team that plans, organizes and executes marketing programs for strategic markets and opportunities
  • Foster strong Sales-Marketing alignment, to develop marketing plans and programs that support the goals of the region as well as the goals of the company
  • Provide Marketing support throughout the customer lifecycle; generating leads and driving the pipeline i.e. conversion, renewal, retention.
  • Guide the team though the development and execution of Account Based Marketing plans for selected customers and prospects
  • Secure flawless planning and execution of executive customer engagements in the region
  • Work closely with all Global Marketing functions, informing global plans with regional input, being the regional voice for global initiatives
  • Track and report key metrics that measure program success to drive continual process improvement and communicate to cross-functional teams and executives.
  • Contribute to annual global marketing strategy and planning process. Own and manage budget.

Job Requirements

 

  • University degree, preferably with Marketing or Business focus
  • 10+ years of strong B2B marketing experience with progressive responsibilities
  • International marketing experience is essential; prior experience in the technology industry is an advantage
  • 3+ years of proven successful management of a team including experience of matrix organizations and effective leadership people in field locations
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management. Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation fundamentals and best practices to drive success, including focus on metrics tracking and results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfort in working with senior leaders and executives
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important. An entrepreneurial attitude; thrives in an environment of change and ambiguity.
  • Fluent English.
  • 10-15% travel time
