Job Description

 

As Regional Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing Airline Solutions marketing activities specific to the APAC region. In partnership with the Regional Vice President, Account Directors, Sales Leaders, Corporate Communications and Product Marketing teams, you will manage all aspects of regional marketing that support market presence, brand differentiation, and sales acceleration. This includes activities such as regional industry events, account-based marketing campaigns, public relations support, and sales pursuit support.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Regional Marketing Plan: Develop the strategic and tactical regional marketing plan based on regional needs and business goals. Incorporate multiple aspects of the marketing mix and execute with precision.
  • Regional Campaigns and Sales Enablement: Be knowledgeable of the regional sales pipeline, customer need, and competitive landscape to support localized campaigns, sales pursuits, and field enablement training.
  • Strategic Customer Engagement: Support and enable strategic sales engagements by providing content to articulate key messages and market problems such as presentations, talking points, and marketing collateral.
  • Trade/Industry Events: Drive recommendations for regional events that support product and sales goals, work with vendors and/or product marketing colleagues to negotiate contracts that benefits Sabre as a brand, and manage (co-manage with product marketing) applicable events from planning to on-site execution.

Job Requirements

 

 

  • At least 5 years of business-to-business, regional product marketing experience
  • MBA preferred; Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
  • Willing to travel 25% as required (Sabre-hosted conferences/workshops, industry/trade events, customer meetings, US headquarters)
  • Strong, proven leadership skills in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment with executive presence
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Domain expertise in the airline or software industry
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
