Position Summary

The Contributor Financial Analyst – EMEA role, reporting into EMEA FP&A Senior Manager is responsible for the planning function for the EMEA sales division. The incumbent will be responsible for rolling up inputs from Europe, Middle East & Africa, providing consolidated results in support of the EMEA SVP.  From an analytical perspective, success in this role will be determined by the ability to distill external reference points along with internal data to identify, communicate and help implement data driven recommendations to improve business performance. In practice this means the Financial Analyst will have the analytical and abstract reasoning skills to synthesize complex and detailed data and information into meaningful insights. 

 

Position Responsibilities

 

 

Support the planning and analysis for the division: (70%)

  • Work with leadership team and planning analysts to develop annual plan designed to achieve company’s goals.
  • Responsible for rollup of EMEA inputs by sub-region / country.
  • Assist with close, forecast, and variance analysis on a monthly basis, provide consolidated results to Manager of Finance in support of EMEA SVP.
  • Implement and monitor rigorous cost monitoring and controls to ensure profitability of the region.

 

Support critical recurring and ad-hoc commercial reporting and analysis to drive the business: (30%)

  • Analyze internal / external information using data manipulation, correlation and statistical analysis.
  • Provide regular reporting on performance of accounts within the region.
  • Support leadership with financial analysis and modelling as needed to support target achievement.
  • Execute specialized customer analysis to support increased market penetration and share of customer wallet. 
  • Support all Strategic Projects related to EMEA Sales Division.

  • Demonstrated advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and database application skills.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • 3+  years of applicable analytical experience
  • Technology or software sector experience (preferred).
