Job Description

This role leads regional EMEA delivery teams, and develops and maintains relationships with key customers and will typically manage very large, multi-site deliveries that are often international in scope. Additionally, the role will coordinate resources and develop project plans, advise senior executives of project and client status, help team members manage ongoing work through governance structures and create high level plans that provide guidance to projects where detailed plans are established.

•    Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental, regional, or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
•    Responsible for integrating Product Planning, Development / Release Management, Implementation, and Customer Care activities in to a single work plan.  
•    Develop and grow talented team of Project Management professionals within the Delivery team
•    Be expandable beyond the Director role as the business and associated opportunities grow.
•    Coordinates resources and develops project plans and monitors resources and plans from initiation through delivery.
•    Creates and manages integrated project schedules across several Sabre and customer work streams or projects.
•    Resolves issues with regards to delays in project delivery and resource constraints. .  
•    Facilitates customer & program level issues and change management resolution.  
•    Drives alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization.  
•    Manages risks, issues, and action items across program or multiple concurrent programs
•    In conjunction with work stream /project owners, manages communication plan including reports, metrics, and meeting facilitation as needed.
•    Directs the team in developing and maintaining project plans/milestone plans for critical projects to ensure that they are developed and implemented on schedule and within budget.
•    Directs the team in creating and tracking project requests and service requests to ensure delivery resources are available and properly utilized.
•    Conduct training and mentoring activities with internal and external project team members.
 

Job Requirements

  • 7- 10 years Project management and/or business process improvement experience in a related field.
  • Prior experience supporting the hospitality or transportation industry a plus.
  • Experience with interfacing with Senior Customer executives at the Vice President level and above.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Experience in translating technology into business terms and with integrating technology into the business environment, including the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Master’s degree or similar graduate degree a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English.
