Job Description

Role Title: Sabre Virtual Payments Delivery Management (Lead)

Description

Has responsibility as a Delivery Manager for activation and implementation of customers on Sabre Virtual Payments.  Also acts as the leader for a team of Delivery Managers and acts as single point of accountability for all onboarding and activation of Sabre Virtual Payments customers.  In addition, acts as the overall Program Manager who manages any resources across other teams that are needed to facilitate a successful implementation resulting in the ability for the new customers to transact on the SVP platform.

Responsibilities / Job Description

  • Reports all activation and implementation performance weekly and provides updates into the SVP Program Manager
  • Defines reporting structure and puts in place a system to capture conversion performance
  • Continuously improves and optimises implementation and activation methodology – routinely reviews processes and procedures with a goal to reduce the timeframe between contract signature and the ability to transact on the platform
  • Systematically tracks human resource capacity utilisation, owns delivery manager workforce planning, and coordinates training delivery with Global Operations and Global Solutions Delivery to ensure successful turnover to steady state support
  • Ensures allocation of resources in alignment with sales strategy & goals and coordinates with sales leadership to ensure delivery manager resources are fully utilized
  • Provides direction and input to activation and implementation approach, so that it is consistent with best practices
  • Act as the key point of contact to sales engineers to take over customer interactions and assign resources as appropriate, from within the Delivery Management team or as needed form other Sabre teams
  • Provide guidance and direction to Delivery Managers on how to execute with impact against the defined project timelines
  • Based on experience, helps and guides the Delivery Managers to identify key risks and issue related to the activation and implementation, and help them identify risk mitigation strategies
  • Escalates major & critical risks/issues within Sabre and finds solution to major risks/issues by liaising with appropriate leaders within the wider Sabre organisation
  • Sabre SPS steering committee representative to provide program guidance and escalation focus as required to maintain timeline integrity
Job Requirements

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of Sabre Virtual Payments including configuration of the products and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot activation and implementation issues 
  • Proven technical experience in customer facing situations primarily focused on implementing technical solutions within the travel industry.
  • In-depth experience of working with Corporate, Leisure and Online travel agencies
  • Understanding of development tools, including API’s, Web Services
  • Proactive approach to technical problem solving and customer engagements
  • Ability to analyse, identify and resolve complex problems in daily operations
  • Project Management and implementation skills to complete customer activations
  • Ability to manage multiple delivery projects simultaneously
  • Highly developed communication skills and proficient with the English language
  • Understands the complexity of a fast-paced technology business and works well in a matrix organization. Team player a must
