Sabre acquired Radixx in October 2019 as part of the technology company's entrance into the fast-growing LCC and Hybrid segment.
Radixx International, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is now delivering its sixth-generation passenger service system, RadixxRes PSS. RadixxRes is the first fully web-native PSS system and can be deployed in any public or private data center. RadixxRes provides a customizable, complete enterprise system that caters to the needs of hybrid, low-cost and traditional airlines, including support for interlining, code sharing, and distribution through GDS. Founded in 1993 and hosting airlines on six continents, Radixx's fully integrated, cloud-based solutions support all airline business models. 
 

What you will be doing:

 

The Sr. Software Engineer is a key member of the development team for the Radixx Airline Passenger Service Systems. 
The engineer works in collaboration with the technical lead and other team members to implement new functionality and 
resolve defects in existing functionality. Our agile approach to software development breaks work into sprints. Within each sprint, the engineer is responsible for taking design artifacts and turning them into a finished product complete with unit tests.

Accountabilities: 

 

• Develop software as per business and technical requirements.
• Maintain software engineering best practices and software coding best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of code.
• Works directly with QA and testing staff to quickly resolve testing and quality issues.
• Co-ordinate release of code into test environments.
• Log worked hours promptly into Jira tickets after completion.

 

Job Requirements: 

 

• 5+ years as a professional .Net Developer or .Net Software Engineer 
• Object Oriented Design and Development
• Agile Development 
• C# with Visual Studio required
• Basic – Team Foundation Server - Knows how to merge code line by line, and can exercise good judg ment, and
  be a part of a team with group code ownership.
• Expert – HTML5, XML, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, CSS
• .NET 3.5 SP1, .NET 4
• ASP.NET MVC and Web Development
• Expert – generics, LINQ, templates, inheritance
• Third-party tools: Prolers, Resharper, PostSharp, Soap UI (a plus)
• Oracle ODP.NET for 11g (a plus)
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Intermediate – Understand all primitives and collections. Familiar with the BCL to not reinvent the wheel and make use of existing framework code.
• Intermediate – Able to get up to speed on alternate frameworks/libraries quickly.
• Intermediate – Bootstrap, Knockout
• Intermediate – Mastered the basic Model, View and Controller classes, understands how they
  work together to paint a screen.
• Intermediate – speaking in patterns, anti-patterns, and code smells.  
• Third-party tools: Prolers, Resharper, PostSharp, Soap UI (a plus)
• Can dynamically alter the style of elements by id, class or element type.
• Firm understanding of intermediate to advanced topics such as custom model binding,
ActionMethodSelector, ActionFilter, and custom ActionResults.

 

Education: 

 

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
