Job Description

Role Title: Systems Integration Consultant



Supporting Sabre’s key clients, this role manages our client’s technology and operational relationships. Must be consistently aware of changes to customer’s technology landscape/requirements and support their roadmap, partnering with them to identify opportunities to unlock more value for the customer and Sabre.


Develops technical strategies and architectures for complex systems or enterprise-wide solutions. Develops and recommends technical solutions and strategies based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs and existing systems infrastructure. Participates in sales and proposal presentations in addition to ongoing account management activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Often viewed by customers as a consultant. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of technical issues in both imaginative and practical ways.



  • Responsible for delivery of system integration at customer conversion projects from planning to delivering
  • Planning - Responsible for highly structured due diligence engagements to make it a successful transition
    • Detailed understanding of customers’ end-to-end business operations, technologies and system architecture including interfaces
    • Delivery of detailed technical business scoping document, which identifies all cutover critical elements and highlights risks
    • Due Diligence executed in collaboration with Delivery Specialists and Partner Network

  • Ensures successful integration and configuration of all required interfaces (e.g. Mid/Back Office, Corporate Booking Engines etc.)
  • Works closely with technology partners to ensure successful implementation and integration of their respective products
  • Conducts introductions to customer ambassadors for complex and/or non-standard Sabre products and solutions or tech partner products
  • Supports change management processes to help the adoption of new systems
  • Engages other experts, developers, and resources as appropriate (Internal and external).
  • Identifies new technical opportunities for products, services and revenue generation to feedback to the Sabre product organization
  • Customer onsite assistance at Go Live stage
  • Works closely with customer support teams & across all operational verticals
  • Promotes global cooperation, collaboration and partnerships between individuals and groups
  • Consults with clients where required for the development of their in-house solutions and applications

Job Requirements


  • Must have a degree in Engineering, Technology or MCA
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in either engineering or technology is preferred
  • Experience in managing large scale technical projects in customer facing environment, consulting positioning and implementing technical proposals and solutions within the travel industry.
  • In-depth experience of working with Corporate and Leisure travel agencies
  • Strong ability to drive resolution of complex technical issues
  • Proven experience in managing customer issues, keeping stakeholders & executives updated
  • Experience in operating in a matrix environment
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively across cultures and organizational hierarchy
  • Technical expert of development tools, including API’s
  • Innovative & Proactive approach to technical problem solving and customer engagements
  • Ability to analyze, identify and resolve complex problems in daily operations.
