Job Description

Stay up to date on Sabre tech and broader tech domain
• Actively seeks information and learns, to ensure that at any point he/she up to date Sabre’s product strategy
• Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of Sabre’s core product platform, non-standard Sabre products, reference applications, 3rd parties and technology partner products
• Maintains a broad understanding of technology concepts, industry trends and disrupters relevant to our business (E.g: Mobile tech, Cloud, Microservices architecture, Block Chain, Crypto Currency, IATA initiatives (New GEN ISS, Easy Pay)


Customer relationship
• Responsibility for delivery of system integration at customer conversion projects from planning to delivering
• Planning - responsible for highly structured due diligence engagements to make it a successful transition
o detailed understanding of customers end-to- end business operation, technologies and system architecture including interfaces
o Design of end-to-end workflow in accordance with operational improvements proposed during sales phase
o Delivery of detailed technical business scoping document, which identifies all cutover critical elements and highlights risks
o Due Diligence executed in collaboration with Delivery Leads
If required, responsible for identifying customer needs and resources needed
o Collaborate with customer, account team to meet project deliverables
o Collaborate with internal and external project team members to ensure full understanding and successful execution of each task


• Delivery
o Installs and configures complex and non-standard Sabre products, reference applications, 3rd parties and technology partner products
o Ensures successful integration and configuration of all required interfaces (e.g. Mid/Back Office, Corporate Booking Engines etc.)
o Works closely with 3rd parties and technology partners to ensure successful implementation and integration of their respective products
o Owns Sabre installations in complex customer environments including network configuration
o Executes in depth introductions and trainings to customers ambassadors for complex and/or non-standard Sabre or tech partner products
o Supports change management processes to help the adaption to a new system environment
If required, responsible for
o Install and configure Sabre standard products
o Executes in depth introductions and trainings for customers ambassadors on relevant products
o Designs and conducts onsite and/or virtual training for customers agents on relevant products
o Support change management processes to help the adaption to a new system environment

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in travel industry, including E2E workflow & common operations knowledge
• Proven technical experience in customer facing situations focused on consulting positioning and implementing technical proposals and solutions within the travel industry.
• Functional and technical experience in technical troubleshooting and/or system support and/or analysis
• Proactive approach to technical problem solving and customer engagements
• Ability to analyze, identify and resolve complex problems in daily operations.
• An innovative thinker who has the ability to approach situations from a different yet logical perspective.
• Detailed knowledge of Sabre solutions
• In-depth experience of working with Corporate and Leisure travel agencies across the EMEA region.
• Technical expert of development tools, including API’s, Web Services
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on GDS experience; excellent functional Sabre knowledge is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer implementations; project management experience is a plus
• Have proven knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• General understanding and usability of computers and networks
• Creative individual with strong analytical and solution oriented skills
• Ability to connect with a variety of audiences at all levels within and outside Sabre
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills internal and external
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
• Understands the complexity of a fast-paced technology business and works well in a matrix organization.
• Team player with experience of working with different cultures in a global environment
• Fluent written and verbal English
• Flexible to travel on business as required.
