Job Description

  • Being responsible for Sales activities for Russian market.
  • Provide professional consultations and serves as advisor to the sales force, customers and potential customers regarding the resolution of moderately complex technical, scientific or engineering issues that affect the sale, installation and utilization of organization products and/or services in the assigned region of Russia and the CIS countries.
  • Analyze training needs of new customers and plan training activities to support agency conversions and product implementations of Sabre GDS. Those activities may be planned together with developer companies.
  • Technical sales presentations, technical consulting, troubleshooting, research and documentation and investigate emerging technologies in the marketplace.
  • Analysis of client’s requests and FAQ, competitive situation, proposes changes in products and/or services that result in cost reductions and increased sales
  • Provide advice to the working groups or through virtual communication for regional clients and their staff, located in any region.
  • Actively participates in the preparation and implementation of projects for client’s migration to Sabre GDS and other Company’s products.
  • May prepare operating manuals, references or training materials for customers and the sales force.
  • Coordinate workshops and customized training courses in close cooperation with sales department.
  • Responsible for reaching Market booking and training goals according to company strategy for Russia.
  • Contribute to special projects as required.
  •  Constantly develop and keep up to date individual knowledge of Sabre GDS and its products.
  • Directs the sales of the organization's products and services.
  • Responsible for attaining sales objectives for the Russian market.
  • Works on activities of sales representatives.
  • Prepares and coordinates the major deals and maintains key customer contacts at senior levels.
  • Monitors sales and expense performance and initiates corrective action where necessary.
  • Gathers the market intelligence covering competitors' products and sales strategies.
  • Participates in major sales events to maintain and increase the visibility and the image of the company on the local market.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years.
  • Knowledge of company's product and service offerings.
  • Advanced computer software skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Basic sales skills.
  • Ability to work without supervision and high self motivation.
  • Ability to set priorities and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Position requires a high level of perseverance, enthusiasm and proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Russian and English.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Profound knowledge of Sabre product portfolio.
  • Very good knowledge of Sabre technical platform  - hardware and software.
  • PC Literate (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access etc.).
  • High level of own initiative.
  • Strong team player.
  • Good working knowledge of travel agency environment and processes.
  • Proven travel industry knowledge .
  • Results driven and a self-starter.
  • Work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexible to travel on business as required.
  • Ability to display a friendly, courteous and professional manner at all times.
  • Professional dress code required for external as well as internal training, workshop and all customer events.
