Job Description

Product Managers inspire and lead cross-functional teams with tenacity, creating and driving an innovative product vision and strategy aligned with Sabre’s organizational strategy & the competitive landscape. They address challenges & opportunities openly & directly, advocating for strategic, end-to-end, commercially viable products & solutions. They lead as peers, driving outcomes while working side-by-side with technical product owners, development teams, and commercial business partners.

Our Product Managers are confidently responsible for Sabre’s success through pragmatic, collaborative, and well-informed product management. They listen beyond the obvious to ensure the best idea wins, not just their idea. As the Product CEO, Product Managers rigorously monitor their product through the full product lifecycle, from development to sunset. Product Managers embrace the whole problem, understanding the operational metrics, customer needs, organizational priorities, go-to-market messaging, revenue and cost implications.

 

Responsibilities:

•As the expert for the products, conducts product training for internal teams, both in person and virtually

•Supports sales pursuits with customers by responding to functional product questions

•Engages with sales enablement teams providing product specific information for sales materials

•Acts as the CEO of the product. Owns the P&L. Drives the strategy and vision for the product.

•Produces and maintains a business plan for each product.

•Understands competitive landscape including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, and Sabre’s opportunities and threats.

•Conducts qualitative and quantitative research into customers and prospects to determine areas for growth and to support market problem definition.

•Influences support models to drive customer satisfaction and lower costs when possible.

•Creates feature requirements based on the market problem rather than the proposed solution.

•Prioritizes features and product backlog.

•Collaborates with Product Development on new features and aligns on technical strategy.

•Establishes/supports pricing strategy through strong understanding of customer value drivers

•Documents and communicates influencer and buyer personas.

•Prepares positioning documents for each product and target segment.

Job Requirements

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Minimum 3-5 years related experience.

• Advanced computer software skills.

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects.

• Experience working with an agile development team and an understanding of Scrum philosophy.

• Experience in the travel industry.

• Experience delivering product training
