Job Description

 

Under general direction, responsible for handling the time and attendance tool (Kronos). Runs and audits the Kronos files that feed payroll. Audits employee profiles for accuracy of data and runs reports that allow the detection of errors in the time and attendance system. Performs a wide variety of time and attendance records, maintains vacations and produces special reports. Trains employees and approvers using Kronos and supports them in their daily usage of the tool.

 

Also cooperates with the rest of the payroll team in performing monthly payroll, pay adjustments and final pay calculations. Conducts researches of employee and organizational data for payroll specialists or other Human Resources specialists, and managers within the company as needed. Participates in delivering pay stub explanation sessions to employees on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements

 

Education/Experience

 

Previous related experience in time & attendance.

 

Experience working with a time & attendance system will be highly valued.

 

Bachelor's degree (or currently studying) in a related area such as Human Resources, Labor Relations, Labor Law, Business Administration or Accounting will be a plus.

 

 

Skills

 

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

 

Excellent computer software skills, especially MS Excel

 

Good communication skills, written and verbal

 

Teamwork

 

Very good interpersonal skills

 

Ability to multitask and to work focused to accomplish deadlines with maximum accuracy
