Job Description

We at Sabre provide technology to the global travel ecosystem from agencies to airlines and cruise lines to hotels and everyone in between.  You have likely used our industry leading solutions at many touch points traveling on business, to visit family or on vacation and not even known it.  We enable travel!

Sabre is looking for a creative and innovative Instructional Designer to join their Travel Network Global Operations team. This team member will partner with sales, product marketing, field marketing, product support and other business partners to execute on the Travel Network Strategy.

The Instructional Designer will design learning solutions that align to our external customers’ needs and go-to market strategy.  The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in adult learning principles and drive performance-based outcomes.  Seeking someone who can move at the speed of the requirements, consultative and forward-thinking.

Job Requirements

Instructional Designer Duties

  • Own projects end-to-end through the design lifecycle
  • Support external and internal customers with defining learning objectives, utilizing the appropriate learning mode of delivery such as: instructor-led, blended, Elearning among others
  • Author and create instructional design content such as Elearning courses, instructor and student guides, scripts, storyboards, job aides and media
  • Create and support  certifications through various learning mediums (Elearning, live and virtual)

 

Instructional Designer Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or Adult Learning Education
  • 3-5 years working with process management for developing curriculums through the ADDIE framework
  • 3-5 years administering Learning Management Systems such as NetExam, CallidusCloud’s Litmos and similar
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments 
  • Practitioner of Adult Learning Principles
  • Knowledge in creating digital content and Elearning courses utilizing software such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and similar
  • Knowledge in HTML5 and scalable content
  • Proficient in graphic and web design as well as multimedia editing
  • Collaborates well in teams and with sales and technical leaders
  • Seeking someone who is innovative, brings learning best practices and eager to be a part of a growing team and high-performing sales organization
  • Knowledgeable in utilizing Qualtrics in a plus
  • Bilingual in either Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
