Job Description

Under general direction, implements, designs and maintains employment/recruitment and other personnel programs. Will be in contact with recruitment agencies and may search for and identify candidates for specialized or difficult-to-attract positions. Screens applicants. May conduct employment advertising campaign programs and coordinate labor fairs. May maintain college recruiting, affirmative action and/or career development programs. Participates in determining needs, requirements, hiring forecasts and communications, will work with hiring managers in the recruitment strategy.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of the functional area. Exercises independent judgment. 
  • Applies advanced skills, concepts, practices and procedures to complete several small to medium projects or a complex component of a large project.
  • Receives general direction on assignments, with minimal review.
  • Decisions have impact on success of project team, department, work group, and/or client.
  • Proven work experience as a recruiting coordinator, recruiter or human resources administrative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes, phone interviews and reference checks
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
  • A high level in English is required
  • Great attention to detail


Minimum 5 years professional recruiting experience. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
