Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting challenge within a global technology company that has ambitious plans for growth?  Are you passionate about communications and travel, and have you always wanted to work in the fast-growing, dynamic industry that is travel technology?

Sabre seeks a proactive, savvy and resourceful communications professional, responsible for developing and delivering high-impact media communication strategies that raise awareness of Sabre in technology, business and mainstream media in Southern Europe.  The candidate will be responsible for managing and leading PR efforts for a number of Sabre’s Southern European markets – Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Greece – and will work closely with leaders and other members of the EMEA communications team.  As member of the global Corporate Communications team, the candidate will also be required to support global initiatives where required.

What's in it for you?

This is an exciting chance to join a global team in a company that has many opportunities for career progression.  The candidate will have ample opportunity to travel,  and will benefit from a supportive, flexible and rewarding team.  Sabre offers flexible “Work from Anywhere” options, and the manager of this team (communications director) is highly supportive of out-of-the-box growth and development ideas.  Those who work hard and play a key role in team goals here will do exceptionally well, and there’s a strong culture of reward for successful performers.  You’ll also benefit from exposure to senior leadership and will enjoy working with a friendly and creative team every day.

This is an exciting position that will suit someone who can drive results in a fast-paced environment.  The candidate would be well-connected with Italian media (and other markets such as Spain and France would be advantageous), be a strong writer and communicator, and understand how to use communications to drive positive results for the business.  Experience in technology and travel is advantageous, but not necessary.  Experience on the sustainability front would also be a major plus.
