We’re seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to manage the commercial and operational relationship between Sabre Hospitality Solutions and an assigned portfolio of hotel customers. The position requires a customer-centric thought process as well as advanced sales skills. 
 

Job Description

 

Focusing on new business generation, with major brands/ new logos as well as product sales to new prospects. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working in a demanding and challenging environment and with a proven track record in sales and executive level customer engagement experience. The role will be an integral part of the LAC team and have accountability and ownership for New Sales in the assigned region.

 

  • Primarily responsible for growth and revenue generation of new logos (hotel chains) to Sabre Hospitality in Mexico. 
  • Act as the primary commercial lead for new product ‘Run Rate’ sales such as Synxis CRS, GDS media
  • Focus on supporting the Head of Sales with LAC Strategy for business development 
  • Develop, grow and nurture new leads and feed the sales pipeline 
  • Working with all key internal stakeholders to facilitate successfully onboarding new hotel chains 
  • Leverage C level contacts to ensure new logo wins 
  • Inspire and deliver qualified consultative approach and technical experience to build long term growth in customer base 
  • Ensure Implementation and maintenance of an effective sales management / process approach.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Understand customers’ objectives and business deeply, develop strategies for maximizing performance, and ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
  • Monitor market and competitor developments, develop insightful analysis of market trends and customer performance, and prepare and execute professional presentations to clients.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of sales activity in the pipeline and regularly report key sales metrics to management
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity, provide feedback to management and recommend sales strategies.

Job Requirements

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in the hospitality industry; ideally in CRS Distribution or direct hotel background. 
  • Track record of achieving sales targets 
  • Numerical abilities- analytical, inquisitive and used to working on ROI 
  • The ability to handle multiple projects with good time prioritization skills will be critical to the success of this role 
  • Experience with usage of SalesForce.com tool is a plus and attention to detail critical,
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in Spanish and English
  • Another language is a plus (Portuguese)
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels
