Job Description

Sabre travel Solutions is looking for a talented Principal Sales Proposal  

What will you achieve?

  • Own the RFP process, including quality control and continuous optimization
  • Take the lead on writing higher profile RFP/proposal projects as needed
  • Act as project manager for all sales proposal types (request for proposal, request for information, etc.)
  • Assemble proposal response teams, set milestone dates and delegate assignments
  • Lead coordination of cross-functional stakeholder inputs and aggregation of content
  • Independently perform research, editing and proposal production for a variety of sales efforts
  • Ensure final copy contains high-impact content by others and provide coaching as needed 
  • Exercise good judgment to make timely decisions on compliance-related issues and any items impacting the development,   production, timing and delivery of high-quality proposals
  • Perform quality check of all proposal deliverables: meets customer business and technical requirements, message aligns with strategy, proofread & edit as required, standardize proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension and style and that all copy and imagery is on brand
  • Maintain and update response library
  • Track trends on RFP best practices to validate proposals are best in class

Job Requirements

Must Have Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in technology business, preferably in the travel industry
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) with advanced communication skills
  • High initiative with the ability to think strategically and drive execution
  • Advance level in MS Word including the use of styles and formatting tools
  • Advance level in MS Excel to synthesize large amounts of data, e.g., 8K questions and answers
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously
  • Deadline driven with high degree of accuracy


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience managing a team
  • Hands on experience in Salesforce
  • Exposure to working within a global multinational corporation
