Job Description

The Field Marketing Senior Manager will lead the Europe, Middle East and Africa Field marketing team working in close collaboratoin with the sales leaders and the wider global marketing organisation to meet or exceed the commercial targets, by developing marketing strategies and plans, and executing marketing campaigns to accelerate the sales pipeline in strategic markets across the region.


Reporting to the VP Global Marketing and based in London, the Manager, Field Marketing EMEA will work together with his/her Peers located across the region and worldwide, and all global Marketing functions (Brand & Comms, Segment and Product Marketing, Sales Readiness) as an integral part of the Global Marketing organisation.



As the head of marketing, you will work individually and as part of a dynamic team that plans and implements marketing programs to support the sales organization. You will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work and communicate with team members and sales. You will also be strategic thinker that manages the EMEA marketing plan and ensure the team executes flawlessly and measures the results and effectiveness of the marketing programs. The primary intent of the role is to support sales revenue goals, for new and existing customers, by implementing integrated marketing programs that deliver positive results.



Marketing strategy, planning and execution:

  • Responsible for driving the global marketing strategy in EMEA by ensuring the team understand the strategy and execute the plan in line with priorities consistently across key markets
  • Contribute to the overall global marketing plan as member of the Marketing leadership team and ensure cross collaboration amongst the marketing team and extended support team – Brand team, Segment marketing, Sales Readiness and Product Marketing as well as Corporate Communications and Events


Team Management

  • Lead a team of 5 Regional Marketing Managers across the EMEA region
  • Experience in managing remote teams


Customer programs:

  • Lead the global Account Based Marketing programme in EMEA which is mainly focused on Strategic 1-1 ABM for some of our top customers and prospects.
  • Ensure the programme meets the set KPIs and metrics set through consistent delivery of high quality plans for our top pursuits


Sales Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across the region
  • Partner with Sales leaders in the region. This means an understanding of the overall marketing strategy and plan is regularly communicated to the sales teams and is aligned with an understanding of the commercial targets in EMEA
  • In partnership with sales and peers in APAC and AMERS, ensure the team are supporting the top opportunities in the region right through from attracting, engaging, closing and onboarding
  • Team management to ensure the Go-to-Marketing activity is supported in EMEA.


Marketing Effectiveness:

  • Manage and deploy marketing budget in a disciplined and impactful manner for EMEA
  • Contribute to global projects on a case by case basis as requested.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Several years proven marketing experience in an international company with previous responsibility in field, channel, and distribution marketing, preferably within the travel and/or technology sector
  • Team management experience of experienced marketeers
  • Proven experience of Account Based marketing particularly on Strategic one to one accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of technology market preferred. 
  • Solid influencing skills, intercultural competence and experience working across a matrixed organisation. 
  • Strong planning and analytical skills. 
  • Fluent English and other languages highly desirable
  • Proven experience in managing and deploying marketing budget in a disciplined and impactful manner. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and contribute as EMEA Field leader to the global Marketing leadership organisation . 
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels. 
  • Highly collaborative, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
