Job Description

The Manager FP&A- EMEA reports to the FP&A EMEA Director and leads the planning activities for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region in a flexible environment. The role will manage current and proposed financial plans and policies and recommends changes that will accrue to the organization's profitability. This is a people management position and requires collaborative skills to work with teams spread across geographies and functional teams. Responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial performance of Travel Solutions in EMEA, including financial reporting, planning and analysis; may include billing/pricing, annual operating budget and capital plan, development of customer/product/pricing profitability models and competitive assessments for the region. Consolidates monthly financial results and reports variances. Supports ad hoc requests for business analysis from senior management.
Specific Responsibilities
•    Assure accurate and timely analysis and reporting of financial performance for all regions within EMEA enabling the business leaders to link business and financial outcomes with their respective investments.
•    Lead the Financial Planning function for EMEA specifically leading the forecast, month close and variance analysis process, annual and multi-year planning processes.
•    Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
•    Provide strategic insights into the performance of the business and potential opportunities for incremental revenue generation. Ideation and implementation of FCF improvement initiatives across EMEA region.
•    Partner with the business leaders to identify, measure, and drive productivity as well as critical business performance KPIs on an ongoing basis.
•    Be part of initiatives to Improve financial systems, reporting processes and overall efficiency improvement of the finance function.
•    Support the forecasting of cash flow for the region, including managing cash approval process on behalf of the global teams.
Additional Responsibilities
•    Partner with Global finance leadership teams in ad hoc projects to improve the financial planning and budget management functions.
•    Lead and support business functional teams as they prepare financial reports, outlooks and forecasts, and develop multi-year business plans.
•    Contribute to the annual goal setting process for the EMEA business leadership team.
•    Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the business units, including, but not limited to productivity measures and expense metrics.
•    Identify control weaknesses in financial processes and support the team to identify and implement solutions to address issues.
•    Assist leadership with defining market opportunities and helping in developing sales plans.

Job Requirements

•    The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience (prior people management experience essential) in a technology, travel management company or airline organization.
•    He/she will have knowledge of finance, planning and budgeting, capital allocation and risk adjusted return and cost control principles.
•    Exposure to accounting is an added advantage but not essential. 
•    Superior communication skills with an ability to articulate complex issues in a crisp, clear and concise way.
•    Ability to partner cross-functionality and influence change.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced organization and handling ambiguity.
•    An undergrad in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative programs required.
•    A Master’s degree is preferred.
