Job Description

Business Controller

Sabre Virtual Payments (SVP) is one of the most recent ventures Sabre is taking on, with high growth potential. This unique position will help build the SVP business from the ground ensuring the financials run smoothly, controlling the ins and outs of the P&L, and working with all the partners and vendors to ensure an accurate billing. He/she will also be the “right hand” of the Sr. Director (head) of the SVP team in setting the vision, and strategies to grow the business.

This role will sit within the Global Strategic Planning team reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Planning and Management Consulting. In this setup, the Business Controller will be able to learn across all Strategic Planners that support other P&Ls and stay connected with the rest of the Sabre organization.

Main responsibilities:

a. Business Control: budget and forecasting, performance control (transactions eligible for revenues, value amounts, revenues), invoices, and payments.
b. Lead the business's management reporting, including creating dashboards and control of the partners' reports.
c. Evolution of the day to day of economics with partners and track (including auditing) of financial obligations.
d. Support commercial team with their negotiations with customers (customers & partners business cases).
e. Lead the definition and automation of the sales to cash process and create dashboards to follow the performance.
f. Support billing to customers and payment partners. Define billing process automation.
g. Support contract management.
h. Partner Management: develop business cases for future growth partner opportunities

 

Job Requirements

Must Have Skills:


• Experience in a similar role.
• Data Analysis skills (including tools).
• Experience & knowledge of payment (financial & tech) providers.
• Experience and a good understanding of the Payment and Travel industry.
• Self-driven

Nice to Have Skills:
1. Presentation skills
2. Other European languages
3. MBA
