Job Description


Lead User Experience Designer


The Sabre User Experience team creates compelling, consistent, and highly usable experiences for the travel industry.  We approach our projects with high standards, applying best practices to create consumer-grade user experiences.

As a member of the UX Team, you’ll apply your interaction design skills as part of a growing team of dedicated user-centered design professionals, working with developers and product managers on creating innovative, user experiences across our portfolio.  In addition, you will be responsible for growing the UX practice in the Sabre Krakow office.


What you will do:


As part of the Sabre UX Design Team in our Krakow office, you will support key products in the Sabre portfolio by:

- Collaborating with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to facilitate design strategy workshops, define user goals and refine requirements for your product. 

- Leading and directing the work of other designers

- Conducting research to understand the product, the user, business need and market opportunities in the product area.

- Creating design deliverables from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity screens that achieve both user goals and business objectives.

- Learning and applying our enterprise design library, aligning your project work with Sabre’s design standards for usability, accessibility and functionality.

- Producing interactive prototypes leverage the latest design tools and practices.

- Working closely with development teams to ensure coded applications match delivered designs and design language.

- Partnering with designers across Sabre locations in the planning and execution of design deliverables.

Job Requirements


EDUCATION: - Bachelor degree in faculty related to design, UCD, HCI, computer science or psychology.




  • 6+ years of related user-experience design and/or UI development experience
  • Experience designing and developing across multiple form factors (mobile, tablet and desktop)
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience conducting and/or participating in user research and usability testing
  • Experience leading design teams
  • Front-end coding experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
