Job Description

 

Our four scrum teams in Kraków are responsible for delivering and maintaining applications that handle Customer Identity and Access Management for Sabre’s customers across all Business Units. We deliver services and third-party products focused on user authentication, authorization, and Customer Identity Management. Our applications are critical to the company, so stability is very important to us. With the development of the organization, we are now looking for a new Software Delivery Manager in our Kraków office.

 

Job Requirements

 

The Software Delivery Manager coordinates the development schedule for one or more projects.  The manager must understand customers’ requirements and work with the team leads and technical product owner to identify code dependencies in creating the software.  The manager will then communicate this to the development team.  During development, the delivery manager attends status update meetings to discuss the teams progress.  When a project is running behind schedule, the manager reallocates the available resources to speed up production.  If available resources are not available, the delivery manager must propose a new schedule to the customer and advise the development team of the approved changes. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication and organizational skills.

 

In this role you will:

  • Oversee a staff of approximately 20 people covering 2 product/scrum areas.
  • Be responsible for operational matters and effective achievement of objectives.
  • Consistently work on complex issues or with complex ideas or situations across the scope of responsibility.
  • Be able to navigate by having in-depth functional, company and industry knowledge.
  • Interact with executives, company peers, advisors.
  • Receive direction in the form of goals and project assignments.
Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years related experience;
  • 3 years prior management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in working with airlines, a good understanding of the travel business
  • Vast knowledge of relation management, business acumen, escalation management
  • Advanced computer software skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to delegate work and provide leadership
  • Experience with enterprise level Product Management / Ownership
  • Big picture focused
