Job Description

AirVision Planning and Scheduling is a portfolio of products that airlines are using for planning and scheduling. It offers an integrated suite of network planning solutions and multi-user decision support environment that helps airlines to manage their schedules and enables them to more easily take a strategic-level look at their networks to improve overall performance and profitability. As Scrum Master, you will:

 

  • Support and educate the Product Owner, management and Scrum teams to instill agile values, principles and lead by example
  • Helping teams adhere to the best engineering practices and the Definition of Done
  • Facilitate teams’ self-organization and growth
  • Facilitate communication and improve transparency, remove impediments the team will encounter
  • Track and communicate team progress, as well as sprint or release progress
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum events
  • Encourage discussion, conflict resolution, alternatives or different approaches
  • Help mitigate distractions and increase the teams’ focus
  • Be an active part of the Scrum Master community within company and participate in continuous improvement within this discipline

Job Requirements

Required skills:

  • Has agile mindset, understands what’s behind agile values and principles
  • Understands agile software development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Able to set up and analyze agile software development metrics
  • Drive to get things done, takes ownership, has positive attitude and high energy
  • Must be an excellent team player
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies
  • Has experience in the Scrum Master role
  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills

 

‘Nice to have’ skills:

  • Understanding of modern software development practices like continuous integration and agile testing
  • Previous background in software development roles (project management, software development, business analysis, QA)
  • Familiarity with the tools supporting Agile software development (e.g. Rally, Jira, V1)
