Job Description


The Sabre Customer Centricity Team provides industry leading Profile and Loyalty products that provide customers with an end to end method of collecting customer data that integrates into the user workflow, enabling a complete customer data collection and use process for loyalty recognition and customer data.
While working in this role you will be responsible for the solution definition and delivery for new or existing products based upon the strategy and business needs. You will provide direction to and ensure development meets market requirements; you will manage product release schedule and prioritize opportunities. Manages the annual investment plan (including capitalized investment, maintenance, etc.). Act as the subject matter expert on a consulting basis on multiple projects.


Product Managers inspire and lead cross-functional teams with tenacity, creating and driving an innovative product vision and strategy aligned with Sabre’s organizational strategy & the competitive landscape. They address challenges & opportunities openly & directly, advocating for strategic, end-to-end, commercially viable products & solutions. They lead as peers, driving outcomes while working side-by-side with technical product owners, development teams, and commercial business partners.
Our Product Managers are confidently responsible for Sabre’s success through pragmatic, collaborative, and well-informed product management. They listen beyond the obvious to ensure the best idea wins, not just their idea. As the Product CEO, Product Managers rigorously monitor their product through the full product lifecycle, from development to sunset. Product Managers embrace the whole problem, understanding the operational metrics, customer needs, organizational priorities, go-to-market messaging, revenue and cost implications.


Job Responsibilities:


• As a Principal Product Manager, acts as the CEO of the product. Owns the P&L. Drives the strategy and vision for the product.
• Produces and maintains a business plan for assigned products.
• Understands competitive landscape including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, and Sabre’s opportunities and threats.
• Conducts qualitative and quantitative research into customers and prospects to determine areas for growth and to support market problem definition.
• Influences support models to drive customer satisfaction and lower costs when possible.
• Documents and communicates influencer and buyer personas.
• Prepares positioning documents for each product and target segment.
• Engages with Product Marketing on sales support and go-to-market plans.

- Facilitate and build frameworks to drive decisions across product stakeholders. Keep teams inspired and informed, considering development counterparts’ ideas as peers and partners.

• Customer Focused
- Collaborate with segment owners, sales, marketing, strategy and other key stakeholders to ensure product strategy and commercial model fits the competitive landscape and company strategy.
- Identify target markets, translate customer needs into product roadmap, and support development of go-to-market messaging.

• Commercially and Financially Responsible
- Provide internal expertise on products’ commercial viability; operational metrics, revenue and cost implications, and long-term commercial viability.


Core Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience (product management).
• Advanced computer software skills.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Experience working with an agile development team and an understanding of Scrum philosophy.
• Experience in the Loyalty and/or Customer Profile type products
• Experience in the travel industry
