Job Description

 

TN Product Management team is looking for Principal Product Manager within Air Products organization. Air Products play critical role in Sabre Travel Network portfolio, being responsible for managing multiple product that form Sabre Shopping Platform. Our products and systems process billions of shopping and booking transactions while connecting thousands of airline and agency customers with millions of travelers every day.

Product Managers are responsible for developing and maintaining product roadmaps, as well as establishing long term vision. In day to day activities Product Manager works closely with Agile Development teams, other Product Managers, Sales Teams and Operations to understand, design prioritize and ensure delivery of features and products.

 

In this role you will be responsible for managing following suite of products:

 

Ancillaries/End to end solutions -  In the airline industry ancillary services are usually referred to everything that is not included in ticket like baggage fees, seat reservation and on-board meals. With our solutions we enable traditional agencies and OTAs to not only shop, but also price and fulfil these services.

The role requires competencies that encompass individual performance as well as cross-functional leadership. The Ideal Candidate would possess skills in the following core competencies:

  • Exceptional communications skills and the ability to lead and get work done through others and handle multiple projects
  • Good organizational skills and can easily go from high-level concept into tactical actions.
  • Inherent curiosity, and a passionate for solving challenges while utilizing a data driven approach.
  • Has domain expertise in IT Product Management
  • Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to communicate to senior executives
  • Resourceful, action-oriented individual who possesses a sense of urgency and knows how to overcome obstacles to get things done in a timely fashion
  • Good understanding of Agile development methodologies

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Drive the product roadmap and release plans, rationalize and prioritize product capabilities relative to investment and the annual and long-term product plan
  • Gather requirements from existing and potential customers, write business requirements documents, and monitor the implementation of each feature
  • Track, drive and prioritize delivery of features and resolution of issues
  • Understand the market opportunity, customer needs, and competitive actions to define product’s long-term vision
  • Define detailed requirements to support the strategic product direction for the development teams
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by building strong internal relationships across different business units working with cross functional teams

 

Education:

 

Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
