Job Description

 

Fulfillment Order team is focused on designing, developing and maintaining variety of services running on open systems. We are responsible for Order data distribution to internal and external customers, hosting multiple Order management services and building Order data store in modern, scalable, microservice based and Cloud oriented architecture. We employ latest technologies and practices to handle high volume of transactions supporting millions of traveling passengers daily. Our team is global with largest decision-driving group based in Krakow and implements mature Scrum processes.
 


Technical Product Manager communicates customer needs, technical, and business requirements to the teams.  Helps managing scrum teams’ backlogs and support requests, prioritize them in agreement with product management commitments. According to product vision, accepts teams’ work and provides input into release decisions in conjunction with key stakeholders. Offers the functional knowledge necessary for the delivery of the best product.


• Product subject-matter expert (SME) inside scrum teams
• Scrum team stories, acceptance criteria, backlog creation, refinement, prioritization
• Functional documentation
• Acceptance/sign-off of team stories at completion
• Demos (internal or external, as needed)
• Scrum ceremonies attendance
• Guidance to scrum team on functional requirements

 

Additional Tasks Include:

 

• Analyze, triage and troubleshoot maintenance issues in JIRA
• Provide day-to-day support to scrum teams
• Translate customer requirements and product roadmap to manageable Rally backlog
• Act as primary point of contact for scope elaboration
• Be involved throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line
• Collaborate primarily with scrum teams, product manager, and other stakeholders as necessary, to deliver the products within the timeline and budget
• Interface with customer as and when needed to discuss requirements

Job Requirements

 

• Sabre airline end-to-end system knowledge across multiple host applications and point-of-sale, from booking to fulfillment and reporting
• 5 years+ experience in travel/aviation domain
• Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams on identification of edge cases
• Familiarity with web applications, java/javascript/css/automated UI testing, soap/xml/json/teletype messaging protocols
• System thinking, engineering rigor, technical acumen, storytelling and story mapping
• Technical writing, documentation experience (schemas, functional specs, others) 
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and software development lifecycle process 
• Ability to perform business systems analysis; explain and document complex requirements in a clear, concise manner 
• Analytical and decisive: ability to prioritize the backlog work and identify dependencies
• Flexible attitude, organized and able to handle competing priorities
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills: written and verbal
