Sabre Air Shopping system is handling flight travel requests from travel agents, online agencies and airlines, returning huge number of results based on optimized and customized controls. This complex organism consisting of several components developed mainly in C++ is maintaining a rate of nearly thousand TPS and is hosted on hundreds of boxes. The complexity of business logic requires constant focus on optimization and the demand for processing power and high response times imposes the use of newest, optimal and scalable technologies.

High Performance Shopping an innovative product that allows massive generation of air itineraries with emphasis on large calendar requests that incorporates different approach to air search problem and is better suited for the new demands of the market - calendar processing, cache solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main duty in our team is to think, then to translate the created ideas into working, efficient functionalities developed in C++ language. We believe that deep understanding of the problem is a key to providing good solution, so you will need to gather information and learn the functional areas of your assignments. We expect that the code written is logical, clean, well-organized, and that it is covered with unit tests. You may be asked to participate in code reviews as well as to resolve issues with the application reported by customers or other parties. As a principal you will be accountable for the projects given and expected to bring measurable results.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Good knowledge of C++ programming (minimum 1 years of experience)

• Good knowledge of C++11 and C++14 standard

• Passion for puzzles, algorithms and optimizations

• Knowledge of generic and object oriented programming

• Good knowledge of STL and Boost libraries.

• Knowledge of multithreaded programming concepts

• Good knowledge of C++ debugging/profiling methods and tools

• Very good English communication skills, written and verbal, technology-related

Additionally, we may find these nice-to-have skills useful:

• Knowledge of GCC, Make, CMake, Git

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and programming

• Good knowledge of XML and SQL
