Job Description

 

This role will be responsible for:

 

  • Developing, implementing and supporting high-quality software build systems that involves introducing new techniques and technologies and evolving existing systems, maintaining and enhancing external interfaces to other systems
  • Creating builds of products for use in both testing and production environments
  • Developing build scripts and tools for builds, using most appropriate languages and technologies
  • Integrating automated builds and build artifacts into test environments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools
  • Daily tracking and maintaining the project Change Requests, Impact Assessments, Incident Reports and Software Change Notices
  • Maintaining source code change control, performs setups for distribution partners and corporate clients
  • Maintaining project documentation and configuration baselines
  • Ensuring best practices among team members in tool use and quality assurance

Job Requirements

 

Must have skills:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in Configuration Management and/or Software Development
  • Experience in software development life-cycle (design through delivery and support)
  • Source code administration experience a must
  • Linux experience required including Bash-scripting
  • Experience with Git, Subversion and Jenkins
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (HTTP, TCP)

 

Nice to have skills:

 

  • Scripting experience in Perl or Python
  • Knowledge of Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GC) and test automation concepts and frameworks is a plus
  • Familiarity with Java
