Job Description

 

Communications Lead

 

Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are a network of Sabre’s global centers that leverage talent across the regions, providing increased reach and capacity to focus on technology, product development, innovation & customer engagement. GCCs collocate talent and infrastructure taking advantage of the scale and economics of the region.

The GCC Communications team is responsible for promoting and managing Sabre’s employer brand as a leading technology company and employer in the GCC sites and target markets. This includes:

-    external communications to the market about Sabre’s industry leadership and success and its overall value proposition to employees and candidates
-    internal communications to team members to ensure they are informed and engaged, and that they can serve as effective advocates for Sabre as an employer of choice in the area
-    branding and marketing support such as events, management of websites and social media channels, community engagement 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

•    Develop and implement internal and external communication plans to help the site achieve its goals 
•    Help build and promote employer’s image in the site market and region
•    Generate employee engagement and create the concept of employee as internal brand ambassadors
•    Support site leader(s) executive communication needs to the GCC team members


Strategy and Vendor Management
•    Participate in defining the communication roadmap for the GCC 
•    Create and execute communication plans and campaigns to promote Sabre as a leading technology employer
•    Manage vendors supporting the organization in PR, Social Media and Event Management

 

Media Relations:
•    Coordinate with the comms team and PR agency to a media plan for GCC with a primary focus on promoting Innovation 
•    Support local leaders’ engagement and interviews with target media
•    Develop relationships with target media 

 

Branding & Advertising:
•    Ensure consistency with brand guidelines 
•    Contribute to regional advertising plan and support local implementation 
•    Support sourcing of merchandising products and gifts, e.g. greeting cards, corporate gifts 
•    Implement activation of global and regional sponsorship platforms 
•    Support local partnerships as per the organization guidelines

 

Editorial & Digital communication:
•    Produce regular content including articles, talking points, presentations, key messages, press releases, social media posts, in line with regional editorial plan
•    Manage content development and calendar for Sabre’s local digital channels
•    Advertise content on digital channels to deliver internal and external communication to staff and other stakeholders

 

Events:
•    Support internal and external events, in collaboration with site leaders, HR and business operations
•    Create staff engagement through events supporting citizenship/internal social activities, in collaboration with HR
•    Support HR for people agenda events and campus events, as relevant

 

Job Requirements

 

•    Strong writing skills required
•    Proven record in developing and implementing communication strategies using different channels, targeting different audiences, and promoting a wide range of talent and employer branding initiatives
•    Experience in the IT/tech product industry preferred
•    Strong relationship and adaptation skills: a team player with ability to work with all levels of staff in all business/support functions
•    Service-driven, dynamic and open-minded: a doer with ability to steer business/support functions towards a common goal
•    Agile, curious and forward-thinking: ability to question and revisit any action
•    Experience with leading and successfully deploying corporate branding initiatives and campaigns
•    Hands on digital media management experience
•    Strong program management skills and ability to lead projects end to end
•    Knowledge of the media, political and business landscape in Poland, especially about social, community and environmental matters
•    Fluent in Polish and English
