Job Description

Sabre Travel Network is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to manage all aspects of our outbound marketing strategy. You will be responsible for driving regional demand generation and pipeline for Turkey, delivering regional marketing plans to support ambitious growth targets to our target customer segments (travel agents, air/rail/hotel suppliers, corporations). 

Reporting to the Country Leader and the Field Marketing Team Leader Manager will work together with the Field Marketing Managers located in the field across EMEA, the Segment Managers as well as the Global Brand organisation in headquarters, as an integral part of the EMEA Marketing team. 

 

The candidate filling this role will ensure that global, regional and local campaigns are consistently and effectively implemented. This includes input of local market needs into Turkey and global developments and evaluation of marketing contribution to local and regional sales goals as well as measuring progress and success of the plans and report back results to Sales leaders.

 

  • Marketing strategy:
    • Using the agreed Country marketing strategy and adapting global and EMEA brand campaigns, to plan and execute local marketing plans Turkey primarily and other markets as requested.
  • Marketing planning and execution:
    • Build the regional marketing plan for the Turkey in collaboration with Country Leader and based on central marketing strategy
    • Execute the agreed marketing plan with a key focus on the top opportunities across multiple countries defining the marketing mix that drives awareness and consideration of the brand, lead generation campaigns, account based marketing and overall support of the sales pipeline
    • Execute local activities leveraging existing EMEA wide campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation and drive customer engagement through the optimum mix of media including web, video, email, social media and industry and customer events.
    • Ensure quality of translated material into local language for all centrally produced marketing assets where relevant.
    • Manage and deploy marketing budget in a disciplined and impactful manner.
    • Contribute to marketing projects beyond core country remit. 
  • Sales support:
    • Partner with and support Sales and Account Management teams to contribute directly to commercial growth goals.
    • Deliver marketing solutions supporting all stages of the customer buy-cycle.
    • Ensure local Sales teams are equipped with up-to-date value-based marketing material in collaboration with Sales enablement and Segment team and encourage adoption of new sales tools.
    • Support the Go-to-Market activity for new product and content releases, actively supporting the employee-readiness programme EMEA SabreReady.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Several years proven marketing experience in an international company with previous responsibility in field, channel, and distribution marketing, preferably within the travel and/or technology sector
  • Experience in supporting the sales cycle particularly valuable will be previous experience in Account Based marketing
  • Strong commercial acumen, good understanding of technology market preferred. 
  • Solid influencing skills, intercultural competence and experience working across a matrixed organisation. 
  • Strong planning and analytical skills. 
  • Fluent Turkey and fluent English highly desirable
  • Proven experience in managing and deploying marketing budget in a disciplined and impactful manner. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on own initiative. 
  • Strength in the management of complexity parallel with attention to detail, on-time delivery and assurance of quality standards. 
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels. 
  • Highly collaborative, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
