What you will achieve

In this role, you will be a part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team responsible for product development planning and overall progress on delivery and process adherence.

Responsibilities include:
•    Establish and ensures the team follows proven Scrum practices
•    Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies (e.g., coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups)
•    Collaborate with Product Owner on to handle backlogs and new requests
•    Plan the team capacity for each sprint
•    Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur 
•    Track the team progress each sprint through velocity, burndown charts, and other metrics
•    Coordinate customer demos as well as internal demos to enable learning and cross-training
•    Manage delivery of functionality for key product domains
•    Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
•    Help teams implement changes effectively
•    Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
•    Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
•    Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization.  

The successful candidate will have


Job Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years

Necessary Skills:

•    Experience in a scrum master role (e.g. Agile and Scrum methodologies)
•    Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
•    Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English
•    Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and lead by influence to achieve broader organizational goals
•    In-depth understanding of Project Management and SDLC methodologies
•    Familiarity with Software Development and planning tools like Rally
•    Strong team player, able to work with distributed global teams
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment  
•    Track record for negotiating, persuading, and driving priorities while leaning on your org-savviness to work closely with global teams
•    Proven ability to proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, problems, and process gaps
•    Ability to track cross-program or cross-team dependencies and program-level issues while driving escalations when necessary
•    Outstanding organizational skills


Nice to have skills:

•    Scrum Master Certification
•    3-5 years of experience in project management
•    Rally experience preferred


Education: 
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
