Security Services scrum teams are responsible for delivering and maintaining applications that handle Customer Identity, Session and Access Management for Sabre’s customers across all Business Units. We deliver services and third-party products focused on user authentication, authorization and Customer Identity Management. Our applications are critical to the company, so stability is very important to us. 


What you will be doing


Leading teams technically to deliver against product development plans, being enabled by a strong understanding of system architecture, software architecture, software platforms and the underlying technologies.  Driving alignment of architecture and designs with specifications of the product by leveraging best practices and deploying efficient technologies.  Developing architectural roadmap and ensuring the product aligns with the business, clients and stakeholders strategies and requirement.  Ensuring that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints and industry standards.  Collaborating with other solutions/systems teams across multiple geographical locations.  Interacts with key technical managers and experts of the customer in order to understand the technology employed, the business complexity as related to the IT requirements and validates the proposed technical architecture and solution. Creates process engineering and system sequence diagrams and/or enterprise architecture diagrams to ensure appropriate design of solutions. Serve as lead conduit between developers, domain/enterprise architects, designers and with external and internal customers. 
 

The successful candidate will have

 

Must have:


•    Strong hands-on technology experience building and running large scale, highly available systems handling high volume of transactions 
•    Strong design/development experience in building large scale distributed systems and products
•    Good self-organization skills and initiative
•    Good communication skills in English, written and verbal 
•    Commanding knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting
•    Responsible for developing technology architecture of the solution.
•    Reviews architectural designs of other solution architects and validates them.
•    Possess strong skills in any of the automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python etc.  
•    Create and maintain documentation of enterprise infrastructure topology and system configurations.
•    Work closely with App Dev teams to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
•    Work within an agile team that includes members with cross-functional skills.
•    Practical knowledge of cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
•    Expert understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best programming practices
•    Good QA awareness (Unit Tests, TDD, Performance tests) 
•    Strong leadership with demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of management and the ability to influence others without having direct authority over them; ability to cultivate team collaboration and flexibility under changing conditions

 

Nice to have skills  


•    Experience as architect or in leading software development teams will be a plus
•    Design, build, and lead the development of cloud native applications using the Google Cloud Platform services.
•    Experience working with project tracking tools (Rally, Jira)

 

 

EDUCATION:   

 

Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
