What you will achieve

Sabre Hospitality Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated Principal Software QA Engineer for a Senior Automation Architect role.

In Hospitality Solutions our Software Engineers build large, distributed, and real-time software applications that power the leading Chains and Hotels of the world. 

As a Sr Automation Architect, you will:
•    Provide Senior Technology Leadership, collaborate with various stakeholders to define, direct and drive org wide automation goals
•    Assess current business and technical processes, create and drive enterprise-wide automation architecture/solutions and implementations across multiple applications/teams/ technology stacks/platforms
•    Implement and drive large scale automation for UI, API, and PE with large data volume
•    Drive test data management and provisioning solutions across environments
•    Architect, implement and drive automation solution integrated with CI/CD pipeline with a goal to achieve continuous automated certification/deploy across several environments
•    Define and drive enterprise-wide standards, best practices and automation strategy across several teams and business domains
•    Provide technical leadership to various QE teams to develop automation for UI, API and PE testing.
•    Ownership of driving automation solutions, rolling out modernization tools and methodologies to enhance quality across the org
•    Create and drive long term automation roadmap, recommend tools, and framework approaches. 
•    Respond competently to the challenging landscape when confronted with changes, ambiguity etc.
•    You will have a demonstrated experience in API-driven integration, software development, agile methodologies, business process and project management.
•    Debug complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. develop and execute software test plans.
•    Establish quantifiable KPIs to illustrate, track automation progress and success ROI.
•    Develop and maintain automation reporting/dashboard – consolidating test execution results from various sources
•    You are driven to automate testing at every given opportunity, voicing the benefits, stemming from a desire to reduce cost, improve accuracy and efficiency, and customer experience.

 

The successful candidate will have

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•    You will bring 10+ years of deep automation experience that includes hands-on design, architecting, and implementing real time, large scale automation. Increasing experience in leading SDET/Automation teams.
•    Must possess a deep understanding of application stacks and current automation tools, parallelization, processes and best practices.
Experience in high volume, high throughput modern N-tier applications
•    Experience in cloud infrastructure – CI/CD pipeline and test automation for cloud-based applications. 
•    Demonstrated experience in C#,.NET, Java, Python development and building/updating custom automation frameworks. 
•    Hands on experience in:
o    Web technologies – HTTP, HTML, CSS, React, NodeJs
o    APi testing tools - SOAPUI 
o    Experience in Messaging Frameworks (MQ Series, JMS etc.)
o    Data formats (xml, json, yaml) 
o    Data stores (SQL - Oracle, NoSQL – Cassandra, Caching - Couchbase)
o    CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Maven, reporting plugins
o    Agile tools – Rally, Kanban
•    Demonstrated experience in designing and development of large-scale API automation - NUnit, Junit, Rest Assured, Spec Flow
•    Demonstrated experience in designing and development of large scale in UI automation – Selenium, Cypress, BDD frameworks such as Cucumber etc.
•    Demonstrated experience in designing and development of large automation execution results reporting 
•    Knowledge in security testing, performance testing, DevSecOps.
•    Demonstrated experience with testing in Agile/Iterative Development.
•    Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously, organizational skills.
•    Takes initiative in handling issues that arise during testing.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
•    Experience using OTA formats. 
•    Hospitality Industry experience a plus including indirect distribution and GDS.

EDUCATION:
Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
