Job Description

Sabre's Demand Based Signals team is looking for a strong & self-driven Product Manager to help lead our products in the Data & Analytics space. This Product Manager will be responsible for planning and execution of the long-term strategy, defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, and drive the go-to-market plan.  You will foster close coordination with product marketing, engineering, professional services and external customers. A strong strategic and technical background is required. This individual is accountable for business results (revenue and profit) and cross-functional team leadership. 
 

Role and Responsibilities  

  • Establish the long-term vision and growth strategy for the product portfolio
  • Diagram market opportunity, customer needs, and competitive positions to understand the level of differentiation and respond appropriately
  • Develop new hypotheses to test, translate hypotheses to experiments, and use results to build out product roadmaps
  • Lead engineering teams and TPMs through a dotted line relationship and be the “CEO” of the product
  • Drive the execution of the roadmap, rationalize current product capabilities relative to investment and the annual product plan, define release plans, and manage prioritization based on knowledge of the product vision line of business strategy
  • Coach TPMs in defining epics and user stories, coach UX partners in iterating on interfaces, and coach QAs on customer acceptance test criteria
  • Regularly engage with customers, prospects, and launch partners to validate and refine requirements and show case iterative demos
  • Build deep operational relationships with delivery and commercial organizations
  • Monitor new Data and Analytics technology trends and identify areas of innovation relative to distinct competencies and market /business needs
  • Plan and execute the go-to-market strategy including which markets to sell, pricing, positioning, and messaging for this product portfolio
  • Identify customer and internal KPIs, track impact of product investments relative to those KPIs, and rationalize roadmap relative to results
  • Develop and maintain product collateral including datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, press releases, and trade journal articles
  • Define pricing and conduct pricing analysis and identify potentially monetizing opportunities with new offerings

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment is essential
  • Have a strong working understanding of AGILE, SCRUM, and LEAN PRODUCT
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Resourceful, action-oriented individual who possesses a sense of urgency and knows how to overcome obstacles to get things done in a timely fashion
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
  • Strong commitment to excellence, integrity, and transparency
  • Ability to travel 25% (when corporate travel resumes) to visit international customers
