Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts in Sabre Egypt. The ideal candidate will be an a portfolio of SME and large sized account, including contract renewals. In conjunction with this, the role will require the candidate to refine, develop and grow a pipeline of new business in the EGYPT SME travel agency segment. This role requires a customer-centric through process as well as advaced sales skills and is critical for buidling and maintianing strong relationsips.

 

Resposible for interfacing with customers prior to and/or after sale:

 

• Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
• Communicate Sabre’s value proposition and sell additional Sabre products and services within the Middle East region
• Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of the large and SME customers based in the Egypt.
• Management of contractual renewals and requirement for commercial modeling.
• Identify, qualify and management of Large and SME prospect pipeline.
• Prospecting potential customers to successfully drive relationships to formal contracts.
• Identifying a commercial strategy for prospective clients with a view to developing appropriate solutions that provide a targeted ROI to Sabre.
• Provide a consultative sales approach and building long term strategic relationship.
• Meet and exceed annual quota’s for forecasted bookings.
• Maintain market and competitor intelligence and develop proactive strategies to ensure Sabre’s competitiveness in the Egypt market.
• Create, develop, and maintain structured relationships with key decision-makers within the offline sector and broader travel industry.
• Close collaboration with cross functional product, support, marketing teams connected to projects in the Egypt market.
• Effective internal stakeholder management to drive sales pursuits and pipeline growth.
• Comfortably present products, services, and commercial strategies to all levels of the organization, both internal and external.
• Effectively cross-sell opportunities with other Sabre products and services.
• Meticulous management of internal CRM tool and account management processes.
• Negotiate, develop, interpret, and execute on client contract
• Follows internal processes to ensure margins are positive and pricing is in-line with Sabre strategy
• Log and manage all opportunities via Salesforce for accurate forecasting; utilize available tools and resources to be self sufficient
• Ensure contractual obligations are met from both client and Sabre and smartly and thoughtfully manage renewal process
• Other duty assigned by the Country Manager

 

Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationship portfolio of SME’s and large sized account in Sabre Egypt including the management of contractual renewals and refine, develop and grow a pipeline of new business, Negotiate, develop, interpret and execute on client contract. Meet the annual assigned target of forecasted bookings

 

 

Job Requirements

Required skills:

 

• A minimum of 3 years of account management experience in Travel Industry
• Proven business development experience in a fast-growing business driven by aggressive sales targets
• Experience to manage, negotiate, execute commercial deals, with proven track record in new commercial sales, selling or promoting technology value solutions
• An understanding of the STNME travel market landscape including competitive information, key trends, opportunities, and threats, and of the travel distribution industry is desired
• Ability to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills including experience of contracts and contractual processes
• Strong interpersonal, relationship building and team building skills.
• Be willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter.
• Be comfortable working in a dynamic, target driven environment.
• Experience working with, creating, and executing customer and/or commercial value propositions in a B2B environment.
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and very well organized

 

Other skills:

 

• GDS Technical/systems knowledge (preferable)
• Advanced Office 365 skills
• Sales Force CRM tool
• Must possess advanced computer software skill
• Ability to interpret analytics
