Job Description

  • Leads, manages and develops both dedicated sales team and a sales & account management team of select existing accounts. Serves as an important point of contact with account base and is responsible for overall productivity, market share and profitability growth of a specific travel agency segment in Argentina.
  • Oversees and assists with growth and upselling related strategies to existing client base. Effectively communicates new product development in the market.
  • Develops, supports and implements positive customer relations; coordinates with various functional teams within the company to ensure customer engagements are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.  Escalates customer's interests to product teams and related regional teams.
  • Works closely with client and Sabre Management to identify current and future requirements.  Translates such requirements into Sabre offerings with the necessary cooperation of Sabre product marketing team. Develops and articulates solutions based on a client's strategic business or technical requirements identified by jointly working with multiple business units across the client's organization.  Oversees existing or potential client escalation issues.
  • While operating with broad latitude for decisions and actions, this position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial or product standpoint. The position is recognized as an expert both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently as well as on cross-functional teams.  Excellent reporting skills is a must.  Proven experience in building business cases, contract negotiations and financial evaluation/ analysis is required.
  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and related trainings and seminars.
  • Strong self-drive, self-motivation and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6-year experience related to sales & account management, preferably related to Travel and Tourism.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
