Job Title:  Contributor General Accounting

Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a global team and work remotely for a technology company that impact the global travel industry. 

As part of the team you will:

• Be responsible for gathering vendor invoices and code them in local provider system. Work together with accounts payable to record them in SAP.
• Use appropriate software packages to compute withholdings and deductions where multi-state tax laws are required
• Serves as liaison with local accounting providers, HR, Sales, Treasury as well as customers and vendors.
• Create payment supporting documents (payment orders) and monitors cash situation in local bank-create cash flow-
• Access the expense report tool to code them in local provider system.
• Liaison with local providers, inform about deposits, responsible of “Administration” inbox
• Assist with audit if needed
• In charge of issuing monthly invoices

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years prior work experience. Accounts payable department preferred.

Must have skills:

• Advance computer software skills (Excel and any financial ERP will be valued).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detailed oriented, work with minimal supervision, and a team player.
• Fully proficient in English and Spanish
