Job Description

 

We're seeking an enthusiastic Principal Account Director to manage the commercial and operational relationships of accounts located in Colombia, Mexico and Central America. The position requires a customer-centric thought process as well as advanced sales and account management skills, with the ability to work closely with others at all levels both internally and externally in a highly professional and client service-oriented manner.  The Account Director serves as the primary business contact between the clients and Sabre and its role is to support existing and new customers to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. The Account Director will interact with key client stakeholders at all levels, and be able to strike a balance between client expectations and Sabre strategic objectives. The Account Director owns all activities around the assigned accounts and is expected to be well versed in all commercial terms, maintenance and support needs, project delivery activities, timelines, and project scope

 

What will you achieve? 

 

  • Understand clients' business and market challenges
  • Establish working relationships with key stakeholders, including C-Levels at client and within Sabre to either drive meaningful conversations, or facilitate such conversations.
  • Establish regular business review sessions articulating the state of the account, strategic objectives, project progress and other key client performance metrics.
  • Achieve Sales targets and customer satisfaction goals 
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Provide account management, service and consulting to existing, new and conversion clients, includes selling products/services/solutions to benefit the customer and increase productivity
  • Liaise with Client Support to identify, track and escalate customer problems, and/or training initiatives
  • Ensure signed agreements (contracts, amendments, work orders) are shared with key stakeholders to ensure timely billing, or for reporting activities

Job Requirements

 

Must Have Skills:

 

  • 5-10 years of Airline account management experience  
  • Knowledge of Sabre Airline products and services 
  • Bachelor’s degree, with a proven sales/account management experience within the travel technology space.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Experience in a customer-oriented environment 
  • Proven account management skills preferred in order to create, maintain, and enhance client relationships

 

Nice To Have Skills:
 

  • Experience in managing business relationships and driving growth with customers
  • Experience in up-selling products to customers and reaching sales goals
  • High level of initiative and have the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Fluency in English language skills, as well as Spanish languages would be an advantage.
  • Travel is required
