About Team:


The person filing the position will become part of the Activations, Implementation and Migrations (AIM) project management team. The AIM organization provides development, GTE and project management services in support of new solutions/migrations (Data and Analytics LOB) to Airline Solution customers.

General Description:

Provide a leadership role for a team delivering complex software-based hosted solutions. These solutions are mission critical (24/7/365). Working closely with Development, Devops and Delivery counterparts, you will plan, execute and implement projects ensuring they are on schedule, on budget and within planned resource constraints. Experienced with both agile and waterfall development methodologies.  Position will proactively identify risks and works to assertively mitigate potential concerns, recommend solutions, such as allocation of resources and assists in resolution development for escalated problems. Monitor, control and report on project financials and status. Coordinate project dependencies with other counterparts in the Sabre organization. Lead continuous improvement including initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality. Able to work with and influence cross-functional teams, including driving process improvement and change management. Effectively communicate to stakeholders at a technical, business, operational and executive level. Able to work in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid environment

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.


Strong background (either technical or project management based) within software development organizations. Proven ability to: identify project risks, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies, resolve issues while maintaining or minimizing impact to schedules, costs and resources. Has experience in a work environment requiring leadership and coordination across a complex matrixed organization (i.e. core development, testing, operations, delivery and customer support).


Person must have proven leadership skills, strong communication skills and proficiency with PC applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint …) along with software development support tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally).
