The Senior Travel Coordinator will be based in the Sabre Bangalore office reporting to the Travel Manager EMEA & India who in turn reports to the Director, Global Travel. The Corporate Travel team is part of the Procurement function for Sabre and is responsible for providing a safe, seamless and cost-effective travel program.

 

Responsibilities:

The Senior Travel Coordinator will be responsible for day to day operations of the Corporate Travel function in India. The person will be managed remotely therefore the ability to work independently is essential. The major tasks involved will include:

  • Day to day support for employees with travel related issues.
  • Ensure that employees book within travel policy.
  • Visa support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local Embassies.
  • Manage local TMC relationship.
  • Ensure accuracy of TMC booking and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers.
  • Manage room allocation for visitors at pre-paid accommodation.
  • Support the Corporate Travel function globally, as required.
  • Ability to work within a deadline.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

     

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ travel coordination/travel agency experience.
  • Sabre GDS knowledge.
  • Excellent spoken and written English language.
  • Education: Any Graduation
