Job Description

 

Sabre is currently looking for a  Senior Trainer in Bangalore to join us! if you are interested, please register!

 

  • Evaluate effectiveness of Sabre Training program through training needs analysis, workplace and participant assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement on-going modifications to Sabre Training methodologies - applying adult learning theories, administer assessments and evaluate trainee progress; develop/create/publish/maintain/utilize an effective range of training delivery methods - curriculum, utilization of on-line tools and/or multimedia tutorials (i.e. flash, Adobe Captivate author ware, PowerPoint, on-line tools, etc.) for onsite and/or Virtual classroom
  • Undertake assigned projects to increase overall efficiency within the global team including involvement during the project design, development and testing, as well as phase-in/implementation of Sabre products in conjunction with training responsibilities
  • Engage in cross-team interactions to remain on top of latest updates and enhancements
  • Keeping all stakeholders apprised of the changes and plans for Internal and Customer Training
  • Encourage active adoption of Training offerings
Job Requirements

 

  • Basic Degree or relevant industry/professional training background
  • Minimum of 3 years Product Support experience
  • Training of technical systems
  • Understand the travel trade with focus on GDS functions
  • Teaching and presenting skills as well as adult learning background / knowledge will be considered a plus. 
  • Ability to pitch training to varied audiences
  • Identify and conduct training needs analyses and create training plans
  • Review and assess training program effectiveness
  • Strong organizational skills to manage different tasks simultaneously
  • Build good Networks – ability to communicate across all levels
  • Speak and write another language (Malay/Indonesian; Thai; Chinese (traditional/simplified, Cantonese/Mandarin, Korean; Tamil, Hindi), Singhalese, Urdu, etc)
  • Analytical – to understand what is really being required
  • Good decision-making capabilities
