Job Description

  • Build and maintain the “line-up”, which is the single source of truth representing all feature development from the HS backlog in priority order.  This is critical for ensuring HS is focused on planning for and then developing the highest priority features within committed deadlines
  • Track all development commitments and delivery against such items
  • Manage the exception process used to elevate the ranking of an item on the “line-up”
  • Track overall release progress through burndown methodology, identifying risks to on-time delivery and escalating promptly
  • Establish and maintain annual release calendar
  • Manage the change process for pushing slotted work out due to reprioritization decisions
  • Lead release readiness by ensuring all the elements needed for feature release and adoption are in place including documentation/training, Customer communications, etc
  • Manage internal release related communications
  • Lead cross portfolio process improvement activities related to release management
  • Support project time tracking activities

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of SaaS platform release mgmt. and/or project mgmt experience
  • Strong experience in process improvement
  • Thought leader able to independently lead their work, think strategically, and communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to take complex, unstructured problems and quickly apply structure to surface meaningful insights and create outputs that drive alignment and action
  • Experience working with large, globally dispersed, multi-functional organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in business mgmt. or technology
