Job Description

A pre-sales consultant  that works under the guidance  Pre-sales Leader to design, collate and create customized service packages complementing Sabre products for the travel industry 

Reporting to the Pre-sales Director, this position with global coverage would have the following responsibilities :

  • Assist the Pre-sales Leader  in pursuit of new service sales opportunities
  • Collate, organize , prioritize and execute the activities necessary to categorize and pursue service sales opportunities 
  • Independently be able to craft presentations and collateral under the guidance of Offering Managers and Pre-sales Leader 
  • Collect pricing and market segment data to suggest strategies for service package pricing , bundling 
  • Create presentations that present compelling value propositions for specific service opportunities
  • Collect data on competitive activity and identify service needs
  • Work closely with Service Offering managers  to produce necessary collaterals, initiate demand generation and maintaining the service catalogue (in close association with Service Offering Managers)  
  • Assist (Offering manager & Service line leaders)  in the marketing, execution and positioning of services  & service bundles
  • Engage customers (as needed) relating to services selling  
  • Assist  other teams to prepare RFI, RFQ or RFP request  as needed 

Job Requirements

Role Performance Metrics

  • Number of Service sale pursuits under-taken per quarter and win/loss ratio  
  • Quality of engagement with Sales and Service Executives 
  • Speed of response to deal requests using library of bundled and unbundled services value propositions – presentations, collateral
  • Number of sessions  conducted to market and position Services with Sales & Account and Service Executives  
  • Number of recommendations provided to improve overall  Service selling capabilities  


  • 5+ years experience with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Engg is desired ,  Masters preferred with 3 years experience  
  • 3+ years experience in technology or product consulting / implementation , with 1+ years in Pre-sales. Experience in launching products and/or service offerings for Enterprise B2B software (SaaS/Cloud/CRM) preferred
  • Good Strategic and Analytical thinking along with organizational skills are required 
  • Ability to work as part of highly dynamic team supporting sales  and multi-tasking 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills & ability to handle multiple projects reporting to senior executives of the outcome
  • Exposure to the travel domain from a technology standpoint a big plus 
  • Superior hands-on MS Office skill including Story boarding a necessity
