<span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Responsibilities

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Own end to end responsibilities for production applications including run and reduce maintenance of products.
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Being part of high-pressure situations/incidents, and drive incident closure.
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Reduce toil by automating manual processes involved in operations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Improve Stability and reduce mean time to recover for several mission critical applications and services.
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Perform Level 1 and Level 2 diagnostic and triage based on defined standard operating procedures.
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Will be working in Shifts (excluding night shift).
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Other Opportunities include working on latest network architectures and Databases.
  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Migrate legacy/datacenter deployed applications to a multi cloud environment (AWS, Google Cloud).

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Experience: 


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">•         1+ of NOC/Command Center related experience. 
•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•         Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Mandatory Skills:
<span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">          Basic understanding of 
•         Unix/Linux
•         Oracle, SQL
•         Network and Computer Operations
•         Shell/Perl/Python Scripting
•         Analytical capabilities

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">‘Nice to have’ skills:
<span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">•         Basic understanding of web-based architecture and development techniques
•         Experience in tools like SharePoint, JIRA, Service Now, puppet/ansible
•         Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
•         Experience in complex, high availability systems would be a plus
•         Experience in capacity planning

  • <span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Education degree<span style="font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">: BE/B.Tech in any of the circuit branches(CSE/IT/ISE/EEE/ECE)

 

Job Description
Under direct supervision, provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring non-complex information systems operations. Implements machine modifications to increase the capacity of the system. Evaluates vendor proposals for purchases of hardware. Directs compilation of records and reports concerning production, machine malfunctioning and maintenance. May advise on organizational, procedural, work-flow plans, methods and procedures analysis. Analyzes the results of monitoring the operating systems and recommends changes to improve processing and utilization.
